Here are a couple of tips, especially for first-time buyers.

Today I want to talk about being decisive when buying your first property. In the past, we’ve talked about finding the agent and the lender that work best for you, but of course, it’s important to find the home that’s best for you too. The competition has started to cool, especially in the south Jersey area, and there’s going to be a lot more variety available for buyers. You don’t have to be nervous about multiple offers on the home.

You can watch the full video above or navigate to topics that interest you via the timestamps provided below for your convenience:

1: 04 — Don’t attend an open house just to gauge interest

1:30 — Don’t look at other homes online while you’re on a tour, and look at the amenities first

2:14 — Don’t be pressured into offers you’re not comfortable with

3:01 — Go with your opinion in the end; don’t hesitate

4:23 — Make sure your agent knows what the seller is looking for

5:13 — Stick to homes that you love

If you have any questions about this or anything else related to real estate, feel free to give me a call. I’d love to help you.
